Hollywood superstar Tom Cruise will do stunt work in space for an upcoming project, a recent report from Mirror.co.uk said. If that turns out to be true, then the 60-year-old cruiser will become the first person on earth to achieve the feat.
From what we hear, the actor will fly into space before disembarking from the rocket. The entire phenomenon will be recorded on camera for the project.
So far, not much is known about the project. Tom Cruise would apparently play a bewitched guy who later finds out he’s the only person on Earth who could save the planet from fate.
While Cruise has done a lot of incredible things in his movie career – from climbing steep cliffs to leaping off the tallest building in the world, the spacewalk for him (and his fans) is sure to be the most exciting. of all.
Professionally, Cruise recently reprized his role as Captain Pete “Maverick” Mitchell in Top Gun: Maverick (2022), a film he also produced.
The film premiered at the Cannes Film Festival where Cruise won an honorary Palme d’Or. It was released to high critical praise, with many reviewers deeming it superior to its predecessor.
Top Gun: Maverick also broke several box office records upon its release; earning over a billion dollars, becoming the highest-grossing film of Tom’s career.
