Everton beat REACTION, FA Cup draw, Calvert-Lewin ‘to replace Lacazette’, Sterling LAST

HELLO GUNNERS FANS

Arsenal were shaken as Demarai Gray’s superb strike in the 92nd minute sealed a 2-1 win for Everton.

Rafa Benitez had felt the heat after a terrible race without a win.

But Mikel Arteta’s men failed to maintain their lead in the first half as the Toffees fought for victory.

The game was also overshadowed by an unsavory moment which saw Takehiro Tomiyasu get his face kicked by Ben Godfrey – but the Toffee man escaped a red card for his actions.

Meanwhile, Granit Xhaka made an incredible comeback from a knee injury at START at Everton.

The Swiss midfielder is expected to be ruled out until the start of the new year.

He caught the problem after being struck during the North London Derby in September.

But he returned to full first-team training earlier this week, after blowing medics with his recovery.

And he made a surprising comeback for the Toffees in midfield.

Finally, Arteta has hinted that he’s ready to help Manchester City legend Yaya Touré secure his managerial badges.

Arteta said: “He has my number because we spent a few years together at City.

“He’s a player that I really appreciate so he can call me and ask me the question.

“He has the experience, the expertise and has won a lot in the game.

“He can add value to other players for sure.”
