Construction industry: technology averse or historically underserved?

Before founding Procore Technologies, a construction management platform used in more than a million projects in more than 150 countries, Tooey Courtemanche has created a software consultancy developing enterprise HR applications connected to construction planning systems. enterprise resources (ERP).

How Tooey went from business HR apps to the world of construction… to found a company whose mission is to “connect everyone who touches construction […] to manage data and drive better business results? »?

As Tooey tells Anthony Capkun Electrical Business Magazineit wasn’t that much of a stretch, actually, because the love of building has been running through Tooey’s veins ever since. at least In 8th grade, when he started earning his paycheck by sweeping a cabinet shop “and hanging out with people I liked, people in the construction industry.”
